Jerry Yamamoto

Jerry

Jerry earned his degree from one of the nation's top industrial design program at California State University, Long Beach. He has seventeen years of experience with design consultancies in Los Angeles, the Silicon Valley and Seattle. With his experience at these consultancies and as a principal of Slipstream Design Jerry has had exposure working with many high profile companies and organizations such as Infocus, NVIDIA, Apple, Welch-Allyn, Microsoft Xbox and Hardware groups, Watchguard, DAPRA, Palm Computing, Fluke, Gerber Blades, K2 sports. Along with working with Fortune 500 companies Jerry has been personally involved in helping a number of emerging companies establish their flagship products. Jerry's knowledge and experience allows him to provide Industrial Design expertise from early concept to manufacturing.

Drew Carlson

Drew

As a designer, Drew Carlson has over 15 years experience in broad ranging fields such as interior, architecture, metalwork, set design, and industrial design. Prior to co-founding Slipstream Design, he spent 5 years in product design consultancies designing and project managing for a wide range of clients including Hewlett-Packard, InFocus, nVIDIA, Intel, Mobil, Coleman, Brightsmile, Otis, K2 Sports, and Goodrich. A recipient of patents from Steelcase and Mitsubishi, Drew earned a BFA in History from George Mason University and an MFA in Industrial Design from University of Washington.

Mark Ando

Mark

After cutting his teeth at Boeing and Stratos, Mark co-founded Slipstream Design in 2003. Mark has been intimately involved in every stage of the product design process, from concept creation, to system architecture design, detail development, hardware integration, vendor sourcing and vetting, production support, and product delivery. His commitment to innovative, elegant design has resulted in products that are cost sensitive, easy to manufacture and assemble, and exceed functional requirements. Along with elegant design, Mark has a demonstrated ability to rapidly envision creative solutions to complex and difficult problems. He has been instrumental in bringing a wide array of products to market ranging from cutting-edge consumer electronics to low-tech sporting goods. To each of these, Mark has brought his unique flair for reasoned, innovative design.

Stuart Jamieson

Stuart

Stuart brings more than 15 years of product development and management experience to Slipstream Design. His knowledge covers a broad range of industries from defense to enterprise software to consumer markets. He developed image recognition systems for the Royal Air Force in the U.K., and developed and managed enterprise software at InfoAccess and Stellent in the U.S. In 2004, he co-founded AquaStasis, and as CEO directed the company's award-winning continuous test strip technology and ultimate sale to Virbac Corporation. As President of Slipstream Design, he has guided the growth of the company while developing venture partnerships with companies such as Cirrus BioSystems.
